You can walk to the famous Burren from here and explore its limestone surface and extraordinary plant life. The Burren is also home to a number of major attractions such as Aillwee Caves (2km), the Burren Smokehouse and Poulnabrone Dolmen.

There is a wonderful safe sandy beach just 2km from Dolmen Lodge. The beach has a backdrop of the Burren Mountains and landscape and looks out on Galway Bay. The beach is perfect for a stroll and the clear waters are ideal for a swim.

Cliffs of Moher are one of the most popular and visited natural attractions in Ireland. Located on the famous Wild Atlantic Way coastal route, the amazing cliffs stretch for 8km! The scenic views are breathtaking and on a clear day you can see the Aran Island, Galway Bay and the Twelve Pins Mountains in Connemara.
