Dolmen Lodge is located in the heart of the Burren in Ballyvaughn, County Clare. It sits on a 100 acre farm which has been designated as a special area of conservation. It is a botanist's and geologist's delight where Arctic and Alpine flowers grow side by side.

Providing spectacular views of the beautiful Galway Bay and the Burren this accommodation offers four cosy guestrooms which are comfortable and tastefully furnished with modern conveniences.

Both dining room and sitting room have a homely atmosphere and overlook a colourful garden. The hosts are friendly and helpful and ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay. Commanding spectacular views of the beautiful Galway Bay and the Burren, this accommodation offers four cosy guestrooms. It has a double ensuite, a triple ensuite, and two rooms with a double and single bed. All rooms come with an ensuite with power showers and in room facilities for tea making, television and a hair dryer.

"We just loved Dolmen Lodge, and enjoyed our friendly hosts. The grounds and house are just wonderful, and are quite distinctive. Honestly, we would visit Dolmen again in a heartbeat. The wonderful breakfasts are done by Mary, and you may hear Phillip singing or playing music in the adjacent living room. He can tell you about their garden, too. Dolmen Lodge is a charming, peaceful place. Maybe even scenic is the right word.
